These terms apply to your use of this website, run by YIS Benefits dba Your Insurance Solution (“we,” “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Information only, not advice

The content on this site is general information about insurance products. It is not legal, tax, financial or medical advice, and it is not a recommendation that any product is right for you. Your situation is unique: talk to one of our licensed agents, or your own advisor, before you make a decision.

Insurance products and carriers

  • Insurance products are offered and underwritten by the insurance carriers, not by Your Insurance Solution. Coverage is subject to the carrier’s approval, and to the terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of the policy that is issued.
  • Plan availability, benefits, networks, premiums and waiting periods vary by carrier and by state, and can change at any time. The policy documents are the final word; where this site and the policy differ, the policy controls.
  • Some plans we describe, such as short-term medical and some dental or accident and sickness plans, are not ACA-qualified major medical coverage and may not cover pre-existing conditions.
  • Carrier names and logos belong to their owners. Mentioning a carrier doesn’t mean the carrier endorses this site.
  • Submitting a form on this site does not apply for, bind or change any coverage. Coverage only starts when a carrier approves an application and confirms it in writing.

Links to other websites

Some buttons take you to other websites, such as enrollment, quoting and carrier sites. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Using this site

  • Please give us accurate information in our forms, and don’t send Social Security numbers, health details or payment information through them.
  • Don’t misuse the site: no spam, no attempts to break in or disrupt it, and no automated collection of its content.
  • The site’s content and design belong to Your Insurance Solution or its licensors. You may view and print it for your personal use only.

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on its content.

Agent pages

Some pages are for licensed insurance agents only (for example, the Early Access waitlist and carrier reference pages). They are internal reference material, not for distribution to consumers.
